Entry requirements
This course is available to all professionals working in social care who have two years social care experience. It is also available to mature students studying counselling.

Study hours
The approximate amount of time required to complete this course is 240 hours.

Assessment
Each lesson has practice exercises that you complete to develop your professional practice. There is also an assignment after each of the two course modules. You email these two assignments to your online tutor. Your tutor is available online to give you constructive feedback and support throughout your course.
