This course is designed for staff employed in social care. It is suitable for social workers, residential carers and related disciplines. This course will develop your awareness and professional knowledge and enhance your practice and career prospects.

Entry requirements
This course is available to all social carers and related disciplines who have one year social care experience. It is also available to mature students studying social care.

Study hours
The approximate amount of time required to complete this course is 240 hours.

Assessment
Each lesson has practice exercises that you complete to develop your professional practice. There is also an assignment after each of the two course modules. You email these two assignments to your online tutor. Your tutor is available online to give you constructive feedback and support throughout your course.
