Entry requirements
This course is available to all practitioners and staff in the stress management profession and related disciplines who have one year social
care experience. It is also available to mature students studying stress management.
Study hours
The approximate amount of time required to complete this course is 240 hours.
Assessment
Each lesson has practice exercises that you complete to develop your professional practice. There is also an assignment after each of
the two course modules. You email these two assignments to your online tutor. Your tutor is available online to give you constructive
feedback and support throughout your course.
Gateway to the Institute of Counselling
ICVE can assist you to apply for professional membership of the Institute of Counselling in the UK. Professionals in Stress Management
that ‘counsel‘ their clients can apply for Practitioner Membership (Pract.MIoC). Upon successful completion of the Diploma
in Stress Management the ICVE will actively help you to apply for professional membership of the Institute of Counselling. The Institute of
Counselling terms and conditions apply.
The Institute of Counselling
The Institute of Counselling provides education and professional membership to counselling practitioners and professionals that ‘counsel‘
their clients. It is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). It is also an educational partner with
Glasgow Caledonian University.
